Have you ever felt like you put in the effort, but yet still you are not progressing as fast as you would like as if something is holding you back?

Well here is some food for thought, most people without knowing it somehow or another are held back by their own thinking and deep thoughts. When you are about to start a fresh task do you sometimes think about if anyone else has ever achieved this or will it happen, or better still how would I look if I don’t pull it off.
This is part of the reason for your slow progression it has a name and it is called ANTs, which do hold you back.
Yes, that is what I said ANTs but not the sort of ants that you might be thinking about that crawl everywhere. (Forget reaching for that ant powder) These types of A.N.Ts are of a term used by the psychologist. ANTs is an acronym for Automatic Negative Thinking.
We automatically start thinking of reasons that we can’t do something or how it might fail, this puts a block on the great things that you can achieve.
So we need to know how to get rid of these A.N.Ts and there is an antidote for this is called C.A.Ts. Here we go again this is a different type of Cats from the feline type this CATs stands for Capability- Affirming Thoughts.
These are thoughts that are the opposite of the ANTs giving reason to having the capability to achieve your task. If we can reorganize our thinking and gradually make a habit of this, it will accelerate your progression.
So to sum it up, Ants are negative and C.A.Ts will positively chase them away.
